Hospitality Suite

 

For the first time, FLOAT is offering a Hospitality Suite in an effort to provide more services to our attendees as well as increase marketing opportunities for our sponsors. So we invite you to take part in what is sure to be one of FLOAT's most popular elements.

 

How exactly does the Hospitality Suite work?

 

The Hospitality Suite (also known at the hotel as the Cardinal Suite) will be open for three hour blocks at a time as many as four times a day, Sunday through Wednesday of the convention. While it is open, delegates are invited to stop by for complimentary beverages, provided by FLOAT.

 

Sponsors who are gracious enough to support the Suite will get an added opportunity to market directly to our delegates.

 

When will the Hospitality Suite be open?

What can we do in the Hospitality Suite?

 

Pretty much whatever you want! Do you want to bring snacks and serve them to all attendees? Do you want to give away special promotional materials? Maybe run a game or contest in the Suite that only attendees are eligible for? Yes, yes and YES!

 

You can pretty much do whatever you'd like during your Suite time...there's just one rule. Anything food wise MUST be consumed in the Suite, and nothing liquid can leave the Suite unless it's in a cup. It's a hotel catering thing.

 

 

 

Will we be on our own in the Suite?

 

No way. FLOAT will provide a staff person and volunteers to help you manage the Suite so you have time to do your schmoozing with the delegates. It doesn't do a lot of good if you're too busy serving drinks to market your business.

 

 

How will FLOAT help spread the word for us?

 

First of all, free coffee and sodas will go a long way at the convention, so the word will be spread! But in addition to that, every day at FLOAT we offer "FLOAT Notes"; think of it like a daily newsletter. There will be a special section each day devoted exclusively to thanking our Hospitality Suite sponsors and letting everyone know what times the Suite will be open as well as who to thank for it.

 

 

How much does it cost to sponsor the Suite?

 

It's only $199 to sponsor the Hospitality Suite for a three-hour period. If you choose to offer anything besides sodas and coffee, that will also be at your expense.
